When we have performance steps that require meeting a certain date to launch instead of automatically moving forward to the next step, the messaging on the "Next Steps" page is very confusing to the supervisor. They feel that no action is required and therefore they don't scroll down the page to click "I agree" and they then complain to us that the system is confusing. Here is a sample of what the top of the page looks like in the attachment. This statement needs to either be rewritten to indicate that the supervisor still needs to approve the step, or only display it after they select "I approve".
