Communication to employee when Manager approves review

A performance review should be a collaborative discussion, with virtual evolving and employees and employers working together, there should be an option to allow an employer / manager to notify the employee when they do the next step also which provides an employee piece of mind if there is a requirement to review.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?

When an employee is approving their performance review, they have an option to send a notification to their manager, however if a manager is approving they do not have an option to send a notification to their employee.
