Link Learning Module Completion and Onboarding Task Completion

What business value are you trying to achieve?
Implement the linking of learning tasks through to Onboarding. We have had issues where employee's can mark Onboarding Tasks as completed but haven't actually completed the module through Learning. It would be good if they couldn't mark the module as completed until the eLearning is done.

    I do not understand why they are not linked. If it is not complete/attended in the LMS, it should not be complete in the onboarding module.

    This needs resolving. The courses issued to new employees are mandatory; they should not be able to mark the task as completed unless the eLearning course has been done. There needs to be a connection between the two systems.

    Agree, currently they are not linked and employees can't eve see the on-boarding learning activity in their development plan.

    Our consultant advised we should use the report view Onboarding Learning Completion to link data from the onboarding and LMS modules. This would be great except I don't know how to train 400 managers to look at the columns from onboarding tasks to see training that needs to be done and compare with columns from the LMS module for an accurate view of what's been completed. Does anyone have a report that won't result in hundreds of queries from end users who just need a simple list of all overdue training?
