We currently use the sub-activities feature to create 'bundles' of compliance modules that need to be assigned to particular areas. When the child activities or individual modules are completed they are marked with a tick in the parent activity, however completing all activities leaves the status of the parent activity as Booked until and unless the user manually marks the parent activity as complete. This is counter-intuitive and places an obstacle in the way of accurate reporting. If the parent activity rolled up as completed once all sub-activities were done this would be less confusing and straightforward for users.
