Option to disable "Mark as completed" button on learning activities

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
Currently a learner can simply click the "Mark as Completed" button of a learning activity without launching/opening the learning activity. This function whilst useful for some 'learning types for e.g. on the job training etc" is not useful for e-learning or reading as the learner may not go through the 'course' or read the document attached to the learning activity. When creating a learning activity there should be an option to disable the 'mark as Completed' button and instead put this at the end of the learning.

This suggestion would put an end to the ongoing queries we get from employees and managers trying to understand what is completed and what's overdue. It's embarrassing explaining to end users that the system has two different views of the same information.
