Send onboarding task reminders to the appropriate email address based on current onboarding/employment status

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
Once an employee hits their start date, remaining onboarding task reminders continue to be sent to the email address in the applicant account. It would be nice if the email address could update to the employee email address once the new hire starts. We have reminders that go for an entire year, so we anticipate many of the later tasks not being complete or even viewed because the reminder is going to a personal email account.

    Hi Liz,

    This is very informative.

    Originally, the issue was that is the applicant and employee accounts were correctly linked, the emails would only be sent to the employee email address.

    The change listed above is so that the system can be set to send to the applicant email address initially, until the start date, so that the applicant can be notified on pre start date tasks

    If onboarding task reminders are not being sent to your employee's email addresses at all, it sounds like something has not been configured correctly within your system. I would recommend that you speak with your customer success manager to help get to the bottom of your configuration

    The status of this idea says Shipped but the system does not send communication or reminders to the person's company email address. Only to the email address that is on their applicant profile. We would like to see the system look at the person's user profile to get the email address.

    This would be extremely helpful if it was a systemwide setting that each client could turn on or off. At the CSU, we would like the ability for our new employees to receive emails to their personal email address but upon their start date transition to their employee email address. This is a great idea, thank you for submitting!

    Our consultant has advised that we should assign our 15 induction learning modules as 15 onboarding tasks. Does that mean reminder emails to the new starter will go to their personal email address instead of their work email address???
