Change the Logic for Displaying Selection Outcome Drop Down

Incorporate logic that does not block the display field when the applicant list is ordered by name.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

Currently this drop down can be blocked from appearing if the system reads the list of applicants by name and the applicant has two applications against the same job with the same name.

    Thank you for taking the time to share your idea.

    After careful consideration, we’ve reviewed your idea and, at this time, it is not aligned with our current product priorities;

    The situation you're describing happens when two applicant profiles are merged, and both profiles have applications for the same job. While it’s uncommon for an applicant to apply to the same job using two different email addresses, it can happen occasionally.

    When these profiles are merged, the applications are combined under one profile. This is why, on the outcome page, you might see the applicant listed twice, as they have two applications for that specific job. The system is designed to display all applications that need review, which is why it shows both entries.

    We understand how this could be a bit confusing, but since it’s a rare occurrence and the system is behaving as intended, we won’t be moving forward with changes to this at this time.

    Please know that your idea is not dismissed; it remains a part of our ideas database and may be reconsidered as our priorities evolve in the future.

    We encourage you to continue sharing your thoughts and ideas with us. Your feedback is crucial as we strive to improve and grow.
