Language Items - Independent language items

Make Language items in the platform independent in each location in the platform

What business value are you trying to achieve?

Ability to edit a language item in one area without affecting other areas

e.g. Bottom of job card is same language as Edit applicant about mandatory fields but the same words are independent on Edit User

Language overrides are great but there is no real idea where your change will impact the platform - i.e. where is that language item used. Ideally you want the ability to bulk update - and here is where I get particular - control a specific item in a specific location in the platform with my exception/custom override

I will go digging John but an item like "User" on an Event - ideally I would like it to call lit something like "Panel member".

When you add attendees - it would be "'Panel members" you see instead of "Users"

I appreciate it is useful to do some universal changes e.g. "Job" to "Vacancy No." but it is useful to be able to relabel items in specific portions of the job card

another example "Close/Cancel requisition" at bottom of the job card, I tried updating this with Scott but it turned up in another area of the platform

we were trying to reinforce using the blue close/cancel link instead of just toggling the job status field

Hello Mark, once more I appreciate your feedback. Could you kindly provide some examples of what your business is trying to achieve as well as the major driver for this request (for example ease of use, internal branding, etc.)?
