We have been looking for a way to provide search committee members with an email to provide pertinent information and next steps. It sounds like this notification would help solve this for us.
Thank you for sharing your idea!
We’re currently conducting discovery work aligned with our Access Management initiative and Job Modernization journey. As part of this, we’re exploring ways to embed flexible forms within jobs, considering how to grant access to collaborators like panel members and use Convo to notify users.
In January, we’ll reach out to voters for research interviews in this area, as we aim to have some prototypes ready for review by then.
While we can’t commit to delivery timelines at this stage, this marks an important first step in understanding pain points and moving toward your desired outcome.
If you have any additional comments or insights on the value this solution could bring, please share them here. Your feedback is invaluable and helps us continuously improve.
Thank you, Mark and Krista for sharing such comprehensive use cases. Please allow us some time to review them, and we will reach out if we require additional information.
Right now, Search Chairs and Committee do not get any notification early or late that they are a member of a search committee. Our Search Chairs in particular have responsibilities for reviewing the applicants with the Search Committee. We had a position that was open for a while and had applicants on it. Because they were not notified, they did not know to go to their PageUp Dashboard. It is a very poor experience for applicants, frustrated the hiring department, and delayed the recruitment process. The only other option that PageUp presents is for all search committee members to receive an email every time there is an applicant. We have some positions that get over a hundred applications. This is not a feasible option for our Search Committee.
Hi John. Panel members need to be aware they have been added to a panel for a particular job.
Ideally this inclusion in the panel should include the ability to give them shortlisting advice.
Thank you for taking the time to share your idea.
We’ve reviewed your idea and we need more information to ensure we fully understand your suggestion and its potential impact.
Could you please provide us with more details why panel members must be notified so early in the process?
For your idea to remain active, please respond within the next 5 business days.
Thank you again for your contribution. We look forward to hearing from you soon.
Every other user role on the job recieves a notification except for this group. The notifications should be consistent and provided to all users who are stakeholders in the requisition.
That and the ability to provide guidance to Panel members what the Chair/Recruitment Brief is looking for in the applicants.
