Ability to set up automated notification to Recruitment Advisor once sourcing channel / ad closes

Ability to set up automated notification to Recruitment Advisor once sourcing channel / ad closes

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
PageUp already has the functionality to send automated emails to Recruitment Advisors to let him/her know when all approvals have been obtained for a job or an offer for a candidate. I imagine this would be very similar. Ideally, it would send an email to the Recruitment Advisor once an ad or sourcing channel closes, to prompt him/her to take the next step. This would be very useful and a good reminder when you have a huge recruitment workload. It is also less manual work e.g. setting up reminders for yourself.

This is an essential and natural step in the recruitment and hiring process, without the process is unnecessarily delayed and causes inefficiency. I agree also that once the sourcing has closed, the posting should automatically be updated from job status "Sourcing" to the next status in the process, e.g. Shortlisting. This would reduce manual work.

This would be really beneficial to us given we can have high volumes of jobs advertised at once and hiring managers wont start the shortlisting process until we have notified sourcing has been closed.

Automatically updating the job status from "Sourcing" to the next status (e.g. Shortlisting) would also improve tracking how long shortlisting actually takes

Our recruiters have asked for this. I personally was on the fence but yes a lot of our team wanted this.

Agree! Especially with ads that can auto expire without closing dates (Seek AU and Seek NZ)

Agreed. We used to have this ability in a previous system and not having it is a challenge with PageUp, so it becomes a "step backwards" for users.

recommend also automatically updating the job status from "Sourcing" to the next status e.g. Shortlisting

this would reduce manual work to update the requisition to move it away from active sourcing on the Recruitment Officers dashboard
