Provide the option to enforce this as a system setting.

Ideally with some logic to allow a date up to a max period after date opened.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

I want control over the ability to enforce a closing date.

    After careful consideration, we’ve reviewed your idea and, at this time, it is not aligned with our current product priorities. At this time, we’re focusing on job card modernisation. However, as a helpful workaround, creating a report could assist in identifying ‘indefinite job adverts,’ and we believe this may also benefit from additional user training around sourcing policies.

    Please know that your idea is not dismissed; it remains a part of our ideas database and may be reconsidered as our priorities evolve in the future.
