Quick Search Bar

The ability for the quick search bar to only retrieve information that falls within the users permissions.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

Currently users are able to view offers that are made to their peers by using the search bar for the candidate name and then accessing the offer card as well as being able to access the job card through the candidate.

I have had to turn off the quick search function for these users but this is now an inconvenience as the only way to a candidate is via a job. We recruit high volume and managers may not always remember the job the candidate is against.

There are a number of backdoors into data that surpass user permissions. These are closeable, but at a business process cost. Turning off the quick search function prevents unauthorized access, but makes the user experience much more difficult. The same goes for the applicant search feature on the hamburger menu.

Not sure if this helps but we have users with no quick search function but the can view the offers as they are against the offer card. You can have up to 4 onboarding users per offer card. Depending on your offer card setup it might be worth reaching out to your account manager to add this on unless you know how to configure this yourself.
