Create ability for team level communication across PageUp (using notes)

Creating a permission which allows for "sharing of notes with team members" would give the client the ability to enable this feature, at their leisure. Currently permissions only allow for "Share with self or ALL".

The benefit is that team members would be able to communicate with other individuals who are assigned the same team - cross-team communication.

An example could also include a team that is tasked with hiring for internal recruitment positions. This team might wish to make notes or comments about applicants who are already internal team members. Therefore, this team might wish to restrict the comments and notes to their team only, and not give other PageUp teams that ability to see these notes.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

Permission settings can only be configured to share notes with 'self' or 'everyone'. Therefore, team members cannot communicate with only their teams they are assigned.

Example: "Confidential Team" could be responsible for hiring for a select few roles. Currently, members of this team cannot communicate with only members of this team, when using notes across either the job cards or candidate cards.

This idea has been addressed through Convo.

Collaborative Hiring: Convo is a suite of PageUp tools designed to enhance collaboration between Hiring Managers and Recruiters. As part of this, 'Comments' have been enabled in the Applicant Progress Board (APB) List View, allowing hiring teams to:

    • Leave comments on applications.

    • Tag and notify team members about next steps.

    • Collect additional information to keep the recruitment process moving.

For more details, please refer to the Convo KP article here.

It would also be helpful to have more information on how to structure teams to achieve common data access scenarios. It's so confusing that we can't differentiate the team an employee belongs to from the team that is their client group in PageUp. e.g. as an employee I belong to the HR team but I do recruitment for the Ringwood team so Ringwood is the team I need to be able to communicate with.
