Users cannot currently adjust the completion date from the date added on a private learning activity. This is causing issues with those who want to add private learning accomplishments that might have taken place earlier. The current permission to edit completion dates is too broad and would allow employees to edit completion dates on activities that they shouldn't be able to, such as compliance. Ideally there would be specially permissions for private learning activities to allow users to edit completion dates, or have more general control over their private learning activities.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
It would be beneficial if employees had more control over their own created private learning activities. It's highly unlikely that an employee would enter in a conference or a certificate on the same day that it is completed. This would help performance management as well as personal certificate expiration tracking (which need precise dates). |
