Add offer card fields as merge field options on offer approval comms

Super users should be given the choice of which offer card fields to add to this communication. Particularly in our instance, we'd like to have the following merge fields from the offer card:

  • Working Title (Job Name is currently available but it’s pulling from the job card not the offer card)

  • Department

  • Start Date

  • Supervisor

  • Index/Account

  • Annual position budget

  • Requested salary amount

What business value are you trying to achieve?

It is crazy to me that when drafting offer approval communications, we cannot choose merge fields directly from the offer card. The options available are largely sourced from the job card and don't provide helpful context. In the spirit of providing approvers with quick, relevant and accurate information (and ideally facilitating a quick decision), the email communication should be able to share such information.

      Make IOfferSignedByProviderID a merge field. We use this field for our virtual signature.

      make OFFERSTARTDATE a valid merge field in lieu of job card {JOBPOSITIONSTART}

      correct the back end merge to use offer card start date of contract

      What is the business process you are trying to achieve?

      include the offer start date in the Offer approval message

      try to speed up Offer approval

      available merge field is {JOBPOSITIONSTART}which is actually job card Date needed

      Can we have "Working title" on the offer card pulled from the Job Position title and allowed to be updated in the Offer card as the merge field for Offer documents/emails?

      +1 to adding all offer card fields as merge fields.

      It would be ideal to have all offer related fields be available as merge fields on the offer approval communications since the communication is specifically related to the offer card.

      We should have the ability to include all offer fields for merging on offer-centric communications.

      yes- very limited merge fields - only a few from the offer card like {EMPLOYEESTARTDATE} (your start date) - there are others like {DEPARTMENT} {SUBDEPARTMENT} {DEPARTMENTPOSITION} and {EMPLOYEEENDDATE}
