Job Card Side Menu - hide/show option

This helps users when they are logged into PageUp on their laptop. By hiding the side menu it broadens the Job Card display, to save scrolling right and left constantly to view the fields and information.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

Would like the option to Hide and Show the side menu in the Job Cards.

    Thanks to the feedback from early adopter customers, the collapsible vertical page menu is now in BETA for customers who have previously had the Side menu enabled.

    It will be in BETA by default for all customers on Dec 16 and LIVE by default on Jan 8.

    Hi Fiona-

    We'd prefer Option B as it offers the most flexibility - they can have it expanded or collapse.

    I would prefer Option B ��� as this allows users to interact with the job card content as well as the side menu.

    @Guest To follow up on the vertical left-side menu. The team have worked through several options for a collapsible menu.

    We would love to hear your feedback/preference & why too.

    Option A - Overlay side menu. When the side menu is expanded, users can interact with the menu to navigate to different sections and pages of the job card when it is open. However, the job card content cannot be interacted with while the menu is open.


    Option B - Collapsible side menu. When the side menu is expanded, users can interact with both the menu navigation and the job card content. The full width of the page (menu & content) can be horizontally scrollable, or users can collapse the menu to view the main content.

    @Guest Thank you for the feedback. We have decided to postpone the 'LIVE by default' of the side menu until we explore show/hide menu options & implement a solution for smaller screens.

    You can self-enable in LIVE now if users are comfortable zooming their screen out.
