Please make the following changes to the new starter form for the visually impaired:
Fields were not labeled- please label (tag) them for screen readers
JAWS (screen reader software) could not navigate properly from field to field, It was hard to tell where you were on the form- improve navigation
What was required in the fields were also an issue for example the phone number needed dashes and that was not labeled. Edit only appears when you start typing and screen readers cannot interpret this.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
Received feedback from visually impaired candidates who are unable to navigate the new starter forms using JAWS software or screen reader browser extensions. We want to allow our disabled candidates to have the same online experience as non-disabled candidates and not use a manual process. PageUp support has confirmed the new starter forms are not ADA compliant for visually impaired and requested I post this here. |
