Configure valid application statuses against job status

Users are prompted to trigger an update to job status when they update the status of shortlisted applicants. However, there is no prompt to communicate and close off unsuccessful applicants until the job is eventually filled. It would be helpful to set valid application statuses against each job status. Controls to support users with remembering to update the status of applications that are not progressing should include a generic prompt (similar to when job is closed), as well as report or analytics dashboard or a method to filter applications where the application status doesn't align with those that have been configured relevant for the job status. e.g. Easy method to identify applications with status 'Interviewing' or earlier when job status indicates successful candidate has accepted an offer.
