Remove or change the 'submitted' status to something more commonly used in a recruitment process. Given a candidate automatically goes to 'new' when submitted their application, I'm not sure why the status 'submitted' is an essential one in the recruitment process for PageUp.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

Transparent and commonly used statuses whilst also reducing the amount of statuses for efficiency reasons.
