For journal entries as part of performance documenting, the value of the entries would increase significantly if:
the text pop-up box was larger, much larger
the box took rich text formatting, so that one could put in headings, bulleted lists (multiple levels of indenting), bold/italicize text, etc.
the different ways of adding a journal entry included tagging (both buttons should do the same pop-up)

What business value are you trying to achieve?
To increase the accessibility and readability of the entries, the entries would benefit from the formatting and organizational structure, thereby increasing the likelihood of use and promoting conversations about multiple discussion points related to the one journal entry. |
