There is a character counter for fields in the sourcing channel but this feature is not available for fields in the Manage Forms section. It would be helpful if this feature was available for fields with character limits, such as text fields, text areas and large text areas in Manage Forms. At present, some candidates spend time preparing in-depth responses, only to find that their answers are cut off when they cut and paste them into their application form. They are left wondering if there is a character limit or if it is an IT issue. If there was a character counter, it would assist candidates to plan their responses and clarify what is required.
