Update the Recruitment Steps Settings to support dynamic Create, Read,Update Archive operations for recruitment steps.

Requirement:
Update the Recruitment Steps Settings to support dynamic CRUD operations for recruitment steps.

Current State:

  • Recruitment steps are hard-coded in the configuration.

  • No ability to add, remove, or rename steps via the UI.

Proposed Changes:

  1. Add functionality to:

    • Create new recruitment steps.

    • Edit existing step labels.

    • Archive steps.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

1. Increased Flexibility

  • HR teams can easily add new steps (e.g., “Request to Terminate” or “Terminated”) without developer intervention.

  • Steps can be renamed to match evolving business terminology.

2. Improved Scalability

  • Supports different hiring workflows for various departments or job roles.

  • No need to hard-code changes for every new process.

3. Reduced Maintenance Cost

  • Eliminates the need for code changes and deployments whenever steps change.

  • Updates can be done directly through the UI by authorized users.

4. Better User Experience

  • HR admins have full control over recruitment workflow configuration.

  • Faster response to organizational changes.

5. Future-Proofing

  • Prepares the system for integration with advanced features like:

    • Automated step sequencing.
