Prevent system generated emails from being sent during implemenation

Requesting the option to turn off emails to the hiring manager when creating or updating a position descriptions prior to going live in the system. There should be an option to turn off email notifications during implementation.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?

Currently, the hiring manager is automatically emailed when a position description is created or updated. We won't be going live for months and they haven't been trained on the system and will otherwise receive a hundred emails on positions that are already approved.
