The ability to identify each manager layer of a PA in terms of their activities or involved (view, approve or just notify).
Also the ability to direct where you want those PA levels in the team Performance Reviews tab grabs this data from. The PA triggered or the Position Hierarchy. Pos Hierarchy would be preferable as then managers up the chain could also use this feature to see details at all levels vs relying on a report.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
If you assign a 1 up manager they will be required to approval the PA as per your processes (same as review manager). If not assigned, you loose them in your Performance Reviews for your team as a filter to reports once removed as this is based on the PA levels added. |
