Allow multiple rating scales for performance reviews

Currently there is only one rating scale for a performance review. (Settings > Performance > Review Processes > Advanced). It would be better to be able to configure multiple rating scales so that they can be used at mid year and end of year. At the moment out rating scale is prefixed with mid year or end of year, i.e. mid year - not on track and employees need to be careful to pick the correct rating for the stage of their performance plan.
