Upgrades to application form to incorporate inclusivity

Gender:

Currently gender is captured from the title (Mr, Mrs, etc). This needs to be removed and made an optional question.

Needs to be captured in PUP Profile setup with the following format:

Under Personal Details:

Mandatory Question: “I Identify as a”

  • Man

  • Woman

  • Transgender Non-binary, Genderqueer and/or Gender Non-Conforming

  • Other

  • Prefer not to say

Note: Mandatory question, however candidates can opt for “Prefer not to say”.

Cultural Heritage/Descent:

ATSI status is currently captured via “Language”. This must be triggered when selecting “Aboriginal Australian”. This only indicates language and not heritage.

This should be added under Personal details in PUP profile.

Optional question: “ I Identify as a”

  • Aboriginal

  • Torres Strait Islander

  • Prefer not to say

This questions should also be able to be reported on in PageUp.

It's common practise now to be more inclusive, particularly in a HR recruitment

What business value are you trying to achieve?

Include inclusivity in PageUp application forms. This is common practice now and PageUp should be up with this.

Thanks for taking the time to provide this feedback Alyce.

I believe the specific functionality you are referring to sits within the apply portal, so I'm going to transfer this suggestion across to the general feedback board so that it gets reviewed by the appropriate team.
