In generic lists as a superuser it would be great if I could select a value to be the default value in order to save our front-line users time.
For example I could select "Daily" to be the default value for "Contractor Rate Type".
This really would save a tonne of time from our busy hiring managers and recruiters! We use a lot of generic lists as they are super flexible!

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
This would be a big time saver particularly for our upcoming casual recruitment. We are looking at putting 9000 or so offers through PageUp per year.
