With events, you typically have a step to invite a candidate to book an appointment and a step they move in to automatically after booking their appointment.
Many of us have confirmation verbiage that gets sent to the applicant in that second, confirmation step, to tell them they have successfully booked/etc.
However, if you are moving an applicant into the invite-to-book step, and selecting the appointment slot for the applicant instead of letting them choose, the system moves them into the booking confirmed step but doesn't send them any email communication from that second step.
When you are recruiting for many different teams and positions, there are times you may prefer to select the appointments for the applicants and times when you want them to choose.
No matter if you select the appointment for them or they select their own, when the system moves them into the booking confirmed step they should be receiving the email communication from that step if it is in there.

System should be sending email verbiage in "booking confirmed" step whether the applicant books their own appointment of we book it for them when moving them through the recruitment process. |
We are currently working on a calendar integration initiative that will address this. For organisations that connect their calendars to PageUp, confirmation communication will be sent whether the user books on behalf of the candidate or if the candidate selects a time slot for themselves.
In addition, the interviewers will also receive the calendar confirmation.
