Add User's Department as available merge field for email communications

Add User's Department (i.e. {USERDEPARTMENT}) as an available merge field for communications to clearly identify the department of the user who is initiating the email.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?

Would like the ability to identify the User's Department as part of the signature of an email communication. There are other user-related fields that can be used to identify who is initiating the communication, however, there isn't an option to identify which department the user is part of.
