Update Application button to no longer be displayed against an application in the candidate portal if (a) the applicant status is in a non-current state or (b) the job is in a status with ‘current recruitment status = No

What business value are you trying to achieve?
The current behaviour is not optimal, as the application remains open indefinitely This creates the incorrect impression that the recruitment team will continue to receive any changes the candidate makes, regardless of the application’s actual state. If an application or job is not active, there should be no ability for the candidate to update any part of that application.n |
Ability on application form to turn OFF allow update after submission without having to edit all updatable fields.
Not so sure about after sourcing has closed - we have graduate campaigns we need to manage for along time after source closes
Definitely option to tie to status change - that would be good
The application remaining open to change indefinitely makes the update after submission unusable for us too.
I would also consider:
Prevent update after submission once sourcing has closed
Make it configurable on the status, e.g. "allow update after submission in this status"
