Can an auto-save feature be added to the overall document/Employee Performance Profile (in Employee Services) while you’re in it? When selecting a rating, PageUp shows an auto-save feature. However, when you’re typing in the text/comment boxes, it would be very nice for that to auto-save as a draft as well (at least while you’re in that document). When scrolling up and down within the text box (see section below for comment/text boxes) or even on that same page, it sometimes removes everything that has been written. I’m not sure if that’s a glitch because it doesn’t happen every time, but enough for it to be frustrating. Yes, users can save as a draft or save & share, but each time they do that, they have to go back in to select the edit button before they can add to it, which can get cumbersome if you have to do this every few sentences (to prevent it from being deleted). There are times where users would need to refer back to the previous job duty or have to look at the measures, so it would be nice for the text/comments to not disappear without having to click save each time.

High business value with significant benefits. Prevents users from having to click on a button each time they want to save, which requires them to click on edit each time. Ultimately prevents data from being deleted when scrolling or clicking outside that text box. |
