As a Division Chief, it makes sense for me to have access to hiring actions in progress within my division, even if I am not the actual hiring manager. As the system is setup at present, only the hiring manager can see & act on a hiring package. I propose that individuals in positions of leadership have access to all hiring packages for positions in their group...Division Chiefs & Assoc Div Chiefs can access all hiring packages for their division, Lab Directors & Assoc Lab Directors can access hiring in their lab, etc.

What business value are you trying to achieve?
Enhanced business process continuity (hiring actions can move forward if a hiring mgr is out on travel) and those responsible for a group can see & affect those hiring processes for their group. |
