Calculate learning due date from employment commencement date

Config setting or flag when assigning learning to specify which date to use as a starting date when calculating due date.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?

Induction training is assigned to new starters during onboarding. We want to provide the option for new employees to start their induction training before their commencement date. However, due date should be calculated from commencement, not from the date learning is assigned. e.g. module x must be completed within 1 week of commencement - the due date shouldn''t be before the person has started work.

Induction training assigned as onboarding tasks calculates due date from commencement date but allows user to mark training as completed when the learning hasn't been completed.

Induction training assigned via role based training calculates due date from date assigned. If we report over LMS development plan to determine overdue induction training it will report accurately on which training is completed but doesn't accurately report that all induction modules have been assigned to LMS development plan - this doesn't happen unless triggered by employee from the onboarding task. So confusing.
