Update to the gender diversity fields in reporting and HRIS import to be more inclusive.

Currently when using the HRIS import to upload your employees into PageUp, gender is sent through via the import files but the only fields that can be used in reporting at Male, Female and not specified. There is no option to bring represent any other gender identities and to ensure more inclusivity.

More configuration options here to add the fields and field names needed so that we can ensure all the people are represented.

Also to consider moving away from Male and Female and towards Man and Women in terminology when capturing or reporting on gender identity or to provide options for these to be updated by your clients.

Female/Male is a scientific term and clinically refers someone's biological makeup. Gender identity needs to provide options for people to identify with who they are. Man and Woman among various other options would provide a more inclusive experience.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

For recruitment processes and employees experiences/interactions with their systems and tools to be more inclusive for all people.

Ensures our employees feel safe, included and represented as much as possible and that their experience across our tools is consistent.
