Render merge fields in email subject for recruiters

Currently when a recruiter uses a templated notification in an application step the merge field in the email subject is not populated. It is only populated in the email bod. It would be great to be able to have the merge field populated in the subject to confirm it has sourced the correct data.

    Agreed. Would also like more merge field flexibility for email alerts. Currently can only use 5 merge fields in the body of the email, cannot use merge fields in the subject OR in the recipient field. We would like to be able to have the Recruiter email merge field used in the recipient field so email alerts can be sent to specific recruiters, rather than a single email address.
