Easier to read categories will make working more efficient, rather than having to click on a job in each section to know where it is sitting - especially prominent in categories with similar names. Amending the shape of the categories to either be a smaller shape, or to include the entirety of the category name will also help with this.

What business value are you trying to achieve?
It is difficult to tell what each of the categories are as you can't read the whole title and can't hover over the categories to show the full title, and you can no longer rely on the colours as they change often. The new shape of the categories also takes up a large amount of space for no real reason. |
