Performance Reviews allowing ratings at initial Planning/Goal stages

The system should allow you to hide all the rating options at stages where ratings should not be occurring. This way the supervisor can't choose a rating at all and would remove this frustration. There are options to hide on some of the tabs but not on the job functions and goals.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

When a supervisor is working on setting up the plan and goals at the beginning of the review period they system allows them to rate the goals and the job functions, however doesn't show the ratings on other tabs. This causes an incorrect rating on the summary tab that scores the employee at a lower and unfavorable rate. Employees won't acknowledge the initial plan/goals since they are afraid they are approving the lower rating. Looks like the system is averaging all tabs together, even those that don't allow the rating at the initial phase of the process.

    After careful consideration, we’ve reviewed your idea and, at this time, it is not aligned with our current product priorities.

    To address the existing behaviour, we will need to rewrite or redesign elements of the performance module. This will require careful planning to avoid impacting other customers' configurations with performance processes already in place. Additionally, this effort will demand significant resources and investment, which will need to be prioritised accordingly.
