Applicant employment status - place against application not applicant profile

At the moment, the employment status is against the applicant profile. Which means that whenever an applicant changes this, it affects all applications they have ever made. Which skews data.


My idea is for the employment status to be link to the application instead, so that an individual can say for this application I was an external applicant and then when they apply for another role in the future, they can say they are an internal applicant. With data showing different results for the applicant based on the application.

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?

Accurate reporting of whether an applicant was an internal or external candidate when they applied for a role.
