Security around online reference checks

What business value are you trying to achieve?
Need more security around references and what each team sees. Currently under "manage reference requests" and "view references" top of applicant card, there are no security permissions. Whole university can see the online references which is a problem for internal candidates in particular. In addition, we have many applicants interviewing for several positions within the University and if a manager is checking references they can all see who's competing for the same candidate.
