Requesting Referee details

Please make the relevant back end changes to enable the request of referee details in the application form to have the option for us to make that info optional or compulsory......... That fact that it is ONLY optional is ridiculous as it will reduce the number of candidates that apply as they do not want their referees to be contacted unless they have an offer pending. We are aware we can remove the referee details from the application form and add a recruitment process step by attaching an additional form at this stage, however, your "additional form" does not have the blue box auto-mapping option to add the standard referee contact details questions that the application form does, we have to manually configure the form. We are also aware that if we manually configure the form, that we then have to download the form, then copy and paste the provided details in that form in the fields for the online reference check stage of the process............. a complete waste of time when the data is already in page up and can be mapped to populate the relevant fields for the online reference check form automatically. PageUp is meant to reduce the amount of time required during the recruitment process, however, it is actually quicker for us to call the candidate and manually type the info they provide to us into the form Can your developers please give us the option to either remove the mandatory factor of the reference section of the application form OR and the blue auto mapped reference option as a selection into the additional form so that the onloine for is auto populated ready to be sent to the nominated referee?
