Separate the notes and communicate functions between the applicant profile and the application

Make the functions separate so you can remove access to one but not the other.

What business value are you trying to achieve?

I only want hiring managers to add notes against applications and not against applicant profiles. Individuals may be qualified for one role but not the other etc. adding notes to the applicant overall could be damaging to their candidacy for other positions. Based on that we removed managers ability to see notes or emails that were added through the applicant profile because we could not remove access without removing it from the application as well. Despite available user guides and training, managers continue to add notes in the wrong place and then cannot see what they added. Then I have to tell them to add it in the right place and then there is a duplicate notes in the system.
