What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
Any chance more customised flags and number of flags per applicant & application can be increased. Also, is there a chance a automised system flag could be generate to all applicants that have completed a video interview with a video provider.

    The ability to choose from a larger library of more relevant icons (ie: try to find icons that logically match the description best - eg: not a paw print :) ) and then be able to change the order of the flags, so that like flag topics are grouped together when selecting them from the dropdown menu.

    ideally I want to control what permission group can edit a particular flag - currently all or none
