There is a way to view the history all the way up and until the performance evaluation is completed. There is no way to view the history of who approved each step of the process. Part of the problem stems from the ability of other users to approve steps in the performance management process that don't belong to them. Once completed we can't tell when that has happened and by who.

We figured out how to use the Audit Log Tracking feature under Settings/Other, and that will give you actions by employee/user. This is helpful but is maintenance heavy because you have to search by process and by each person in the process separately. Would be nice if you could search an entire workflow for a single performance review.
