'Background checks cancelled' - 3rd party integration worfkflow

'Background checks cancelled' - 3rd party integration worfkflow

What business value are you trying to achieve?
When a 3rd party background check provider cancels a background check from their end it sends a trigger to PageUp to advise the background check has been cancelled. However, the applicant status on PageUp remains unchanged. The ideal and most logical workflow is for the applicant status to also change to a relevant status (i.e. Background check cancelled). The current integration allows for new, pending and closed checks to trigger an applicant status change so what we need is a ‘System status’ that will trigger a cancelled status change.

    Hi John,

Thanks for providing this update. What if we are not using the applicant progress board? How will we identify candidates in this status?

The background check status now updates to "Cancelled," but we did not introduce a new system status specifically for "Background check cancelled," so only part of this idea has been addressed.

In APB, when a background check uses the non-linear screening workflow, the status will be shown in the Screening Activities column. Users can also filter by the pre-offer check status to locate the cancelled ones and retrigger the process if needed.
