Learning importer support the attendance field for event-based learning

What is the business process you are trying to achieve?
When viewing the 'Completed' tab on employee development plans, event-based activities will display the Attendance flag (set by administrators on View Attendees page).
e.g. Attended, Did not attend or Attendance pending
There is a challenge with historical learning activities that are created by the learning importer in that there is no support for setting the Attendance flag. Thus these records which have actually all been attended show to employee's as 'Attendance pending' rather than 'Attended'.
The current workaround is to bulk update this via the unallocated timeslot from the view Attendees page.
It would be great to simply have this done when via the importer so everything is complete in one action.
