We thought of a few ways to facilitate this process, such as:
Creating a reference check status filter that allows users to view only those applications with all reference checks in completed status. This could be a new quick/standard filter on the Applicant Progress Board, or the existing reference check status filter on the Manage Applications page could be updated.
Adding a column/data point to the Applicant Progress Board and/or Manage Applications page that shows the number of completed reference checks out of total references provided.
Implementing a feature to automatically move applications to a certain status once all reference check forms have been submitted.
Currently, the process of identifying applications with all reference checks complete is quite manual and becomes cumbersome for jobs with a large number of applications. Users must first run a report that shows the number of provided references and completed references for each application. They then return to the APB or Manage Applications and use the report to select the applications where the number of provided references equals the number of completed references. Once these applicants have been selected, users can bulk move them to the next stage.

What business value are you trying to achieve?
For many of our jobs, an application is not considered complete--and may not be reviewed--until all reference checks have been completed. That is, all references provided on an application must be in completed status. Users need an easy way to identify these applications so that they can bulk move them to the next stage of the recruitment process. |

We are delighted to let you know that you can now do this in APB using the Track Reference Check Completions in the Applicant Progress Board | Deployed to Live 26 Sep 2024.
Thenew set of filters to make it easy for Recruiters to filter applications based on their reference checks' completion status.
The new filter will have the following options:
All (reference checks) completed
At least one completed
In progress or invited
Incomplete checks
Expired checks
Checks not performed. .

And include a filter for expired invitations to easily resend in bulk!
Please update filter options to include "Reference checks completed" on the Applications search criteria page
application status rules - decide how many completed references can trigger the status change - e.g. set it to two instead of three
