Currently the extend contract button on the offer card shows once approvals have started. It does not make sense to have this available for use until someone has been in a hired/ commence employment status in the system though.
When it is hit/used before a candidate has been hired, there are more downstream effects to the offer in play & locks up many aspects of the offer, extension & job req. If this was not even available until the current candidate has passed through a commence employment/ hired status in the system then all this would be alleviated.

What business value are you trying to achieve?
Decrease the button being using at the wrong times or inappropriate before someone has even been hired. Decrease issues related subsequently when the button is used & thus creating system issues where the offer & now extension as well as job req cannot be used for the candidate. |
