Enhance functionality so administrators can add a new past timeslot to a learning activity. Perhaps this functionality could be somewhat similar to the current ability administrators have to assign an existing past learning activity timeslot to a user's development plan and mark it as complete, through the learning calendar.

What business value are you trying to achieve?
Sometimes, a learning activity is piloted within a department or team before it is launched campuswide with a published calendar. Having the ability to create a learning activity and add past occurrences/timeslots would provide an opportunity to update the attendees' learning records with "credit" for having completed the workshop. Additionally, some departments/divisions/teams may conduct training "off the radar" and then, in hindsight, decide that the learning activity should be captured in eTalent and the attendees' development plans updated accordingly to reflect the completion. While the need to do this doesn't arise often, the alternative has been to create a "straw" timeslot with a future date but capture the actual completion date as the past date in question. |
