Bringing over the performance score from performance module to as an input for succession module

When the integration between performance and succession modules happens, performance score that will be brought from performance module is the latest performance score (no matter what steps in the performance process). This will cause an issue if the employee hasn't completed the full performance cycle (e.g., still in the probation period).

Ideally the score that will be carried over for performance rating in succession is the end year/full year performance score (not the probation score or even mid-year performance score).

Currently there's no capability in the system to be selective and bring over only the end year performance score (e.g., if the staff has just finished with mid-year review, the mid-year review score will be brought into succession module - this does not reflect full year performance and triggers biases in the talent review process).

The idea is to:

  • For new starters: assign either '0 score' or 'N/A' if the staff does not have end year/full year performance score at the time when talent review is conducted.

  • For current staff: if talent review is happening before end of year review the performance score that will be brought in is the latest historical end year/full year score (e.g., if talent review is conducted in Q3 2024/25 and there's no full year score for 2024/25 yet, the system will automatically bring over the full year score for 2023/24 period instead of taking the latest score which might be the mid-year score).
